Maxconsole reports that an elite and renowned group of PSP hackers, including Dark_Alex, has released Pandora’s Battery. This allows for the unbricking and/or downgrade of ANY firmware (to include future releases as well). Very good news for those wanting to run homebrew apps and get the most out of the equipment you paid for. This forum shows the official release message and download location for the software. You do need a PSP that already runs homebrew though. What this program does is convert a normal PSP battery in to something like Sony’s Jigkick battery that official Sony repair staff use. Happy Hacking

In other news. Panasonic released their 103 inch plasma *drools*. Gizmodo has an outstanding review/pics of this entertainment monster. They even play a couple of games and you won’t believe how much you’re gonna want one. Even if it DOES have 12 cooling fans and sits 8 inches from the wall. On the downside of this 1080p titan, it’s $70,000. It also has a 220 volt style plug (like the one on your home dryer) so I bet it sucks alot of juice. But if you’re in the market for a $70,000 TV, my guess is you’re not worried about the electric bill.

Annoyed by cell phones in the theater? The subway? The bus? Check out this portable jamming device. Claims to work out to 40 feet. Got a friend that won’t shutup about his iPhone? Try it out on your “friend’s” iPhone. Then laugh and ask them where their $600 dollars went? I kid, of course. But is this legal? Probably not. Don’t go around holding it over your head yelling “IZ IN UR FONE JAMMINGZ UR SIGNAL!” But… you might as well pull out that old backpack from your closet…for no reason whatsoever.
